A more powerful single CANBus processor is installed, with a new PCB to provide for UK and European norms of operation. Many features are now standardised within the control system for ‘plug & play’ operation and to provide an enhanced diagnostics capability and maintenance tools. The need for a separate tailgate processor and additional input/output boards is eliminated. The system is also prepared for the CleANopen CANBus protocol.
Improved Control Stations
To comply with legislative changes, the driver can choose which control station is functional to minimise the risk of accidents for crew when working in traffic. A green LED illuminates at the powered control station to show status is ON. Manual over-ride buttons are now fitted as standard for each of the packing cycle functions to cope with bulk waste & recycling operations.
